The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

On top of that, the noise from flushing toilets in other rooms was incredibly distracting. I also can't believe the housekeeping was so poor. we were left with only two towels for three guests, forcing us to continually ask for more during our stay.

A few things you should know

my stay at holiday inn express was better than my last visit in jourdanton. the queen room was comfy and cleaned thoroughly, which made it a pleasant experience. i loved the full-size dove toiletries in the bathroom that added a special touch.

Comfortable bed in the room. Not enough towels available during our stay. Having to deal with a malfunctioning elevator was inconvenient.

We enjoyed our family vacation here! The kids loved the pool, even though it was sometimes closed. The staff went out of their way to assist us during a busy weekend. Just a tip, confirm the pool hours upon arrival to avoid disappointment!

I also noticed some fresh Sheetrock repairs that were left uncleaned, which made the place feel a bit unkept.
